Browse your buckets
Until now, Aktar only knew about the files it uploaded itself. Aktar 0.4.0 opens up the whole bucket: every folder and every file, whoever put it there, right in the Library window.
Every file in your bucket
The Library now has a source list. History is your upload history as before, and below it every destination has its own entry. Pick one to browse the bucket folder by folder, with a breadcrumb to jump back up. Select a file to preview images, PDFs, text and Markdown, and to see its size, date and object key.
From there you can copy the link as a URL, Markdown or HTML, open it in the browser, upload into the folder you're in (drag files onto the window or use the + button), create folders, rename or move files, and delete them. Uploads keep their own name, and Aktar adds a number instead of overwriting a file that's already there.
Search the whole bucket
S3 has no search of its own, so Aktar lists every key in the bucket, a thousand at a time, and matches names on your Mac. Results show up while it's still scanning, and the keys it has seen are kept, so refining a search is instant. Inside a folder you can choose between the entire bucket and just that folder.
Temporary links
Copy Temporary Link creates a link that works for 1 hour, 1 day or 7 days and then expires. It's signed with your own keys, so it also works for files in private buckets, and previews in the browser use the same kind of link.
Ready for Raycast
Aktar can now talk to other apps on your Mac through an opt-in local API, off by default and turned on in Settings → Integrations. It's what the upcoming Aktar extension for Raycast uses to upload, search your history and browse buckets without ever seeing your storage keys.

Fixed
- Retrying a failed upload, or uploads queued for different destinations at once, go to the destination they were started for.
- A new upload's row in the Library no longer shows up clipped to half its height.
- Thumbnails keep the image's shape and orientation instead of being squashed into a square, and are sharper on Retina displays.
